Children's Day Celebration

Date: 14.11.2019 

                                               On this day we celebrated Children's day in our training school. All the children participated in the competitions very enthusiastically. The day ended with a cultural programme like dance, group song, verse reading...etc

                The school reopened on this day after the quarterly holidays.

Function: Teacher's Day Celebration

It was the first time celebrating Teacher's Day as a teacher with my Senior Staff Members. Beloved Chief guest shared his thoughts about teachers and the purity of the teaching profession. We as training teachers learned a lot.

                                                               

Quarterly Examination

Quarterly Examination commenced on September 12,2019. I did my best to make my students face the examination with confidence.

AUGUST

Date: 01.08.2019
                         This was the first day of our teaching practice. On this day, I entered St.Thomas higher secondary school, Veera Pandian pattnam as a training teacher. The training session is for four months.

            During these days, I observed the Senior staff's classroom teaching and the way of handling the class. I observed the 8th and 9th standard classrooms.

                                                               

Diagnostic Test

                     These days I conducted a Diagnostic test for 8th and 9th students to diagnose their strengths and weakness. The students cooperated well.

                      Second-year started by entering 79 teaching trainees and we had some details and information about the training period for the next 4 months.

               The full portion in all 7subjects was revised for all of us. We student teacher's scored good marks and it is very helpful.

Function: International women's day

Chief Guest:

Summary of function:

                              The honorable chief guest gave a valuable and thought-provoking note about the importance of women in society. She told us that women were the upcoming pillars of this nation. That was delightful for us.

Summary of function:

                              On the morning glow of 9th March, all the B.Ed trainee's were separated into houses and asked to march in the ground. After that, the inaugural address by our chief guest and various sports games were conducted for the enrichment of the students. That session was very much enthusiastic for student teachers.

 Valedictory Function:

                             After having delicious lunch the valedictory function was conducted by disturbing various prizes and medals and academic prizes were given. This was very much cheerful and enjoyable.

Summary of function:

                             On this enlighted evening a grand occasion was conducted on our campus. This is our 24th college day. Magazines were published and academic prizes were given. Various cultural activities were conducted. That session was awesome and delightful up to the end.

Summary of function:

                                The honorable chief guest gave a lecture about the importance of YRC. We all were taught about the goodness to be done among the society. This duration was very helpful.

JANUARY

                                           Pongal Day Celebration

Date:11.01.2019

                             January is the first month of the year and to make the whole year grateful Pongal day was celebrated in our institution. Pots were busy in making sweets. Inbetween Rangoli competition was conducted in the topic"Plastic-free zone" and water filling in the bottle competition was also conducted and Pinata was also conducted for all boys in college. We all enjoyed a lot on this day.

Summary of function:

                             The debate was a sign on this day. Likewise, our institution conducted the debate on the topic"Social welfare gets improved by Youth or Elders".In these few members of our institution participated and expressed their point of view. At last judgment by our beloved judge was given as youngsters were taking efforts. This session was fun filled and interesting.

                                              Half-yearly Examination

Summary:       

               On those days our college conducted half yearly examination for all 7 subjects. In this, we all completed three-fourths of the portions all secured better results.

                    This day was fully handled by the greenhouse among student teachers.

Function:Inaugural Function

Summary of function:

                                The first day of the camp started with a grateful speech given by our Chief Guest. He explained about the importance of camp and to be much involved in those five days of the camp. This session was very much enthusiastic for us.

Camp Day 2

                    This day was fully handled by the blue house and started with the flag hoist.
                    
                    In the morning session we all the camp members visited the nearby Gandhipuram village. There we were separated into houses and we cleaned, taught to the village students, made awareness about dengue, etc...

Summary of function:

                          Our music and dance instructor sang various songs for us and she told us about the recent trends in day-to-day life. This session was very much interesting with lots of excitement. The day ended with flag lowering.

Summary of function:

                             The morning session was handled by Dr.T.Uma.Here some of the members of our college participated and said about natural resources protection and destruction. This session was much fun filled.

                                                    "Green Revolution"

In the next session, all of the camp members were asked to make our surroundings clean by watering the plants, picking up the plastics in and around the campus. This session was much beneficial for all of us.

Function: Fire and safety measures

Summary of function:

                             The afternoon session was taken in hand by Mrs.Nattar Anandhi. She explained about the fire happenings and the ways to handle at those situations. This was very much helpful for all of us.

Function:AIDS Program

Summary of function:

                              Dr.C.Vetrivel who acted as the guest of that session taught some interesting and valuable message about first aid and the ways to cure them. This was very much valuable. The day ended with flag lowering.

Camp Day 4

                    This day was fully handled by the rose house and started with flag hoisting.

Session: Morning

                    Camp members were divided into two groups and they were allowed to visit the nearby DCW Field. There all of us knew something about the water sources and the salts prepared. That session was fun filled.

Function: Socially Useful Productive Work

Summary of function:

                             Chief Guest of that session taught us about the drawings and paintings and to make some pictures with thread.                                                 "All Faith Prayer"

Camp members of a different religion were asked to read a verse in their holy book and to sing a song regarding their religion. This session was much colorful.

Summary of function:

                             One of the most delighted session by Mr.K.Avudaiyappan.He took all our minds being a child by singing interesting songs and taught us about the ways of camp firing and a song to be sung in that session.

Summary of function:

                             On ending any function there will be a valedictory function. Likewise, our guest of honor gave a valuable speech about the past five days of the camp and as a head, he fired the wood bundles and made an end to the camp.

Summary of function:

                             December is the last month and this month is created to celebrate Christmas. On this day our beloved chief guest gave a valuable speech about the purpose of celebrating Christmas. Sanda Claus gave exciting gifts to all of us. We all enjoyed a lot by singing and dancing.
